The Way The Intern Mentoring Program Works:

Corporate clients donate budgeted fees for projects or become annual corporate sponsors to Common Sense Media Productions, Inc. for projects which are scheduled, produced and supervised by film & video professionals called "Mentors". We assume all responsibilities for delivery of the final product to the client and provide the basic professional video equipment required. Additional equipment and facilities can be acquired at a nominal cost to the client. We employ student interns in all of the creative and production crew positions to further the student’s education and provide the economic savings for the client on projects which would otherwise be cost prohibitive.

Our first obligation is to provide the students with in-the-field supervision of real video/film work which the students receives course credit and can use for their portfolios for pursuing their careers after graduation. If any school wants to provide the use of their facilities and equipment for the benefit of the student's project, Common Sense Media Productions will provide endowment money to that school.
